SMART GAZE - AI-Powered CCTV Class Monitoring System

⚡Classroom monitoring was entirely manual, attendance taken by name call, engagement invisible, no signal for distraction or emotional state during lectures.

⚠️Built SMART GAZE on the MERN stack as a final-year project: real-time CCTV video processing backend in Node.js, interactive React dashboard, MongoDB for attendance and session records.

⚙️Integrated three AI capabilities: face recognition for automated attendance (matching faces to enrolled students), emotion analysis (classifying happy, neutral, distracted, etc.), face landmark detection for real-time attention tracking.

🛡️All AI/ML models trained from scratch, dataset curation, model architecture selection, training pipeline, evaluation, and integration into the live Node.js inference backend.

🚀Live CCTV feed → real-time AI inference → attendance records + engagement dashboard: end-to-end pipeline demonstrated under live classroom conditions.
